It has been wonderful to welcome the students back to Roedean after a well-deserved Easter break.
Our new Prefect team for next year were introduced to the students and staff in Chapel last week, with two Heads of School, Lydia and Chaya. The team of twenty will lead, guide, and support the student body, and we wish them the very best of luck on this exciting endeavour.
Roedean’s annual Festival Fringe Concert will take place on Friday 2nd May at All Saints Church in Hove. The evening will be a spectacular showcase of musical talent, with five soloists performing with full orchestra on, Recorder, Violin, Piano, and Cello, and the Choir and Orchestra will also perform Lili Boulanger’s moving Psalm 130. There are still tickets available if you would like to attend - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/roedean-brighton-fringe-festival-concert-2025-tickets-1289850199669
Finally, thank you to everyone involved in the ORs vs the Students Netball match on Saturday and to the ORA for organising the OR team. The sun was shining, and it was a wonderful morning. There will be a full match report in the Spring Roedeanian.
