We have notified the Information Commissioner’s Office in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”) that we may obtain information about visitors to our website. For the purpose of the Act, the data controller is Roedean School of Roedean Way, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2 5RQ, and our nominated representative with regards to any queries you may have is Shayne Parker.

CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE
Children under 12 years of age may only obtain a profile on our website and use password-restricted areas with express parental consent.   • If you are a member of the Old Roedeanians’ Association (“ORA”) or a former pupil or member of staff, we may share your personal data with other selective Old Roedeanians (“ORs”) and selective Roedean employees and consultants in order to seek to achieve the aims of the ORA - which include organising reunions and supporting Roedean.   • Information we collect about you: with exception to any information collected through your use of any private messaging functionality on our website.
  • to administer our website and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical, and/or survey purposes;

  • to any member of our group, being our subsidiaries and/or holding company (and its subsidiaries) including but not limited to the Old Roedeanians’ Association;

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers.
