The support of Roedean’s wider community of former pupils, parents, staff and friends has been key in the development of the School throughout its history, from the original school buildings in 1898 through to the all-weather pitch in 2018.
We are continually improving our facilities and expanding our Bursary fund to ensure we continue to offer a rich and rewarding educational experience for as many girls as possible.
Did being at Roedean help make you who you are today? Do you believe a Roedean education gives young girls the very best start in life?
If you would like to give something back, you can make a charitable donation to Roedean, or give your time and become involved in School life.
We are hugely grateful to all our generous benefactors who wish to support Roedean’s vision and we greatly appreciate every gift, large or small.
For more information on how you can get involved, contact Grace Chaston, Head of Alumnae Relations by email: email@example.com, or by telephone: 01273 667398.
Throughout Roedean's history, we have supported many girls through bursaries and scholarships. Much of this has been possible due to the generosity of our community. With continued support we will be able to expand our bursary fund and support even more girls to benefit from a Roedean education in the future.
If you would like more information about how a donation from you could support future Roedean girls, then please click 'discuss with us' and a member of the development team will get in touch with you or click below to make a donation.
During the 2017-18 School year, we ran our first fundraising campaign in 20 years to support the building of the new All-Weather Pitch. The pitch is now open and the girls are enjoying the benefits of increased training opportunities, and more home matches.
Unfortunately, our chosen platform to take online payments, BT MyDonate, closed at the end of June, with many more monthly donations still due to be paid over the next three years. If you were donating via MyDonate, please click below to continue your donation through this new online platform.
Were you a keen artist, musician or scientist whilst at Roedean, or perhaps you most enjoyed drama, dance, languages or humanities? If so you may have a particular department in the School that you would like to support. Or perhaps you may prefer to support us by making an unrestricted donation which could be used wherever we feel the most need.
If you would like to make an unrestricted donation, or if you would like to donate to a particular department, then please click below to donate, and get in touch with Grace Chaston via firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know how you would like your donation to be used.
Roedean has produced a wealth of distinguished women who have made a considerable contribution to our society in many different walks of life.
If you are thinking of making a will, or have already done so, once you have taken care of family and friends, you may wish to consider leaving a bequest to Roedean.
Whether you wish to endow a Bursary, provide funds for a capital project, bestow an asset, or gift your stocks and shares, your bequest will be honoured and you will create a lasting legacy which will benefit future generations of Roedeanians.
As a charity, a legacy or bequest to Roedean School (Charity Number 307063) is exempt from Inheritance Tax (IHT). This means a gift to the School in your will could reduce your potential IHT liability. We always recommend you obtain the latest IHT advice from your professional advisor.
If you would like to know more about leaving a gift to Roedean in your will, please click 'Discuss with Us' and a member of the team will get in touch with you.
