26 fearless Year 9 students took on the i360 Sky Walk last week to raise funds for their year group charity, Raystede. They walked on the roof of the pod with family and friends looking up at them and the event gave a massive boost to the total they have raised since September, which now stands at over £4800!

Huge congratulations to OR Marisa Abela who won a BAFTA in the Leading Actress category at the star-studded awards ceremony on Sunday. With so many students keen to pursue a career in the creative industries, she will no doubt be a huge inspiration.

Our Year 11s and 13s have had a great start to their public examinations as they approached them with quiet confidence, and with all other year groups except Year 12 sitting their end of year assessments, there has certainly been a strong academic focus in School. There was, of course, still many other activities taking place, including a teatime recital, CCF cadets completing their Skill at Arms test at Lancing, Cricket and Tennis fixtures and the Track and Field Cup for our athletes!

Finally, it was wonderful to welcome prospective 11+ families to Roedean for our Open Afternoon on Friday. The sun was shining, and they certainly saw the School at its best.
