As we rounded off this half-term it was wonderful to end with the incredible performances of this term’s production, The Sound of Music. There was a double-cast which highlighted the breadth of talent amongst our students with so many more being able to play leading roles. Congratulations to the cast, the musicians, the Theatre team and the Directors.

On Wednesday we held our Founders’ Day Service and welcomed the families and friends of many ORs and former staff who passed away over the last two years. A tulip was laid on the alter as each name was read out by ORA President, Noëlle Chase, and the service was beautifully complemented by the Choir and Strings.

Our debaters have enjoyed more success this week as Lydia and Maria in Year 12 progressed to the next round of the Oxford Union competition, while other students took part in Maths Challenges and Senior and Intermediate Physics Challenges – well done!

Finally, well done to everyone who took part in games matches this week in Football, Cricket and Netball. Congratulations in particular to the U16s and U14s Netball teams whose grit and determination won them silverware in the SINSA competitions.
