Head's Review 26 01 2024

Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean.

School News

Last week was another brilliant week at Roedean and it has been fantastic to hear, not only about student’s achievements in School, but also of some tremendous individual success stories outside School.

Following on from the recent university offers at the beginning of the month, last week saw even more students receive generous and achievable offers from universities for a range of excellent courses. As the University of Cambridge released their decisions, we were delighted to learn that four Roedean students received offers to study there, making this year the highest number of Oxbridge offers in a decade!

The cast of Legally Blonde have been busy rehearsing ahead of this week’s performances and we can’t wait to see the show - you can still grab one of the remaining tickets, showing 31st January - 3rd February.

Finally, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day, Mrs Newman, along with three students, led a poignant and informative Chapel service on Friday. You can read more about this and other stories in the full Head’s Review below.
