A huge well done to girls who have been playing cricket despite the challenges faced by the weather. Year 7 Cricketers have been making great strides using different practise techniques to perfect their shot.

The Theatre stage curtains are open and Key Stage 3 girls will be able to watch their peers on centre stage once again. Later this week, the Dance department will host the virtual Dance Showcase which we cannot wait to watch and celebrate their wonderful performances.

In other news, our Farm Club were visited by a local shepherd who gave the girls a lesson in sheep shearing and handling. The fleece from our sheep will be given to our Textiles department to be spun in class.

And finally, we are so glad to hear of the success of the practice Duke of Edinburgh Silver expedition and wish girls the best of luck in the assessed  expedition which will go ahead after their assessments finish in early June.
