The big news last week was of course our Cross-Channel swim. In a truly remarkable feat, the six Roedean students completed their swim in 13 hours and 13 minutes. Congratulations to the girls, and also thanks to their parents, Dr Hobbs, Miss Wakeling and Mr Serafimov, and everyone else who has supported them. There are some fantastic pictures of their swim in this week’s Head’s Weekly Review.

Our Athletes also had a great week last week, winning an impressive hoard of three trophies at the Brighton and Hove Championships, including the Inters (Years 10 and 11) winning their age group. Last weekend also saw the Family and Friends Rounders, six teams entered, with the winners being the Year 12 team on 12 points. The tournament was of course then followed by a delicious afternoon tea in the sunshine.
