Last week, the weather was glorious and the view from our clifftop site was as stunning as ever. It was lovely to see the students making the most of the sunshine and our boarders certainly took advantage of the warmer evenings.
Congratulations to those students who took their LADMA exams recently. The results were outstanding, and particular congratulations go to Merla and Amelia in Year 13, who have both been awarded Grade 8 with Distinction in their final year at Roedean. Over the last four years, over 90% of all LADMA exams have been awarded with Distinction which is excellent – well done to all the students and LAMDA teachers involved.
On Monday we were delighted to welcome English Netballer, Halimat Adio, to Roedean as over 80 prospective students took part in an exciting Admissions’ Experience Day. The students had a wonderful time, and the Admissions team and PE Department did an incredible job of organising and running such a successful day.
Finally, well done to all the staff and students involved in Friday’s Festival Fringe Concert at All Saints Church. The concert is always a huge success and showcases the incredible talent we have at Roedean. We look forward to hearing more about the evening this week.
