Following the half-term break we were delighted to welcome back our students to Roedean. Early on the Monday morning, the six students who had spent three weeks at Roedean South Africa returned to the UK with their exchange partners and a member of staff. After their first week it has been lovely to see how well they have settled in, enjoying all aspects of school life. They will be here for another two weeks, and we look forward to making it an exciting experience for them.

During half-term, our Geography Department took 40 students to the vibrant North African country of Morocco. Over six days they visited souks, mountains, explored the Sahara, enjoyed camel rides, and much more. The students were able to fully immerse themselves in a different culture and experience landscapes that most had never encountered before.

Our Festival Celebrating Inspiring Women takes place this Friday to mark International Women’s Day. The event is a great opportunity for our students to hear from successful women in a range of fields and we are thrilled to be welcoming 20 speakers, including 4 ORs.
