Last week, we were delighted to hear the news that Ellen (Yr10) was crowned the winner of the Sussex Superstars competition, playing the theme from Schindler’s List on the Violin. Her astonishing performance was the finale to the black-tie charity event, and congratulations also go to Charlie (Yr11) who made the final, captivating the audience with her mesmerising dance performance.
Six Year 9 students headed to Johannesburg last week, embarking on the adventure of a lifetime. They will be spending three weeks at our sister school, Roedean South Africa, and have already been enjoying new sports, boarding, singing with the choir, and taking part in Zulu lessons. We look forward to hearing more about their trip in the coming weeks.
You may remember that in October our Year 7 English students took part in a World Record attempt for the Largest Poetry Lesson (Multi Venue). They took up the task brilliantly and now the attempt has been ratified, they are officially World Record holders – well done!
Finally, well done to all our students who took part in Netball, Volleyball, and Cricket last week, with particular congratulations going to our U16A Netball team who have made it through to the National Plate Finals.
