In an initiative driven by our team of Prefects, students and staff were encouraged to come to School in traditional dress, or to wear an item of clothing or a colour of cultural significance.
The day was a great opportunity for everyone to share their culture with pride, highlighting the wide range of backgrounds and nationalities within our community. In addition, we were able to raise valuable funds for the girls around the world who are supported by Roedean through PlanUK, and their #BecauseIAmAGirl campaign.
The celebration continued in Chapel with a runway show introduced by Mbali singing in Xhosa.
