We have reached the last week of the Autumn term which is always full of wonderful festive activities. Due to the high winds and heavy rain over the weekend we were disappointed that our annual Christmas Fair was cancelled on Saturday, there will be a replacement event this afternoon from 2.15 -4pm and so we hope some of you will still be able to make it.
Despite the weather conditions, a large group of our Year 10 and 11 students still managed to make it to Tunbridge Wells on Thursday evening to go ice-skating with Tonbridge School and by all accounts everyone had a lovely time. Our Sixth-Form students had their highly anticipated Snow Ball on Friday and we are looking forward to hearing how it went.
Huge congratulations to everyone who was involved in the Gala Concert just over a week ago. The show was superb, and it was brilliant to see so many talented musicians on stage. There were an amazing variety of performances, with everything from ABBA and the Cranberries to Debussy and Humperdinck.
Finally, well done to our incredible team of prefects who have been very busy in recent weeks. Ingrid has organised a Christmas Candy Cane sale which has raised over £1000, Ella has run Roedean’s Got Talent, and the whole team have done a fantastic job of rehearsing and directing the teachers ahead of the Staff Panto this week.
