Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean.

Last week, our students took to the stage to showcase an incredible range of dance styles for the House Dance competition. There were loud cheers from the audience and a fabulous sense of House spirit as the performers gave it their all. Although everyone had their strengths, House 2 was the overall winner.

There was success for Roedean students in both Spoken Word and Poetry competitions last week. Three groups of students represented Roedean in the local heats of the English-Speaking Union’s Mace Debating Competition and Public Speaking Competition, and three students went on to win the first round! In addition, five students who took part in the MFL Poésiae Poetry Recitation Competition went on to win the French, Spanish, and English as a Foreign Language categories. Well done to all involved.

The Dreams and Nightmares gala concert on Friday evening was a triumph, with over 100 musicians performing. With two very busy last weeks of term ahead, we look forward to lots of festivities, including the Christmas Fair on Saturday and the Carol Service next week - we hope to see some of you there.
