The last week of the academic year was full of wonderful activities for all to enjoy and it was lovely to see the School community so engaged. Roedean Day and Sports Day were a huge success as we welcomed over 200 ORs and their guests back to Roedean, along with current students and their parents.
Our students took part in Futures Day and Togetherness Day where they had the opportunity to take part in various workshops and we were delighted to welcome our Sports Ambassador, Helen Richardson-Walsh, back to Roedean. She enjoyed a tour of the School and observed some fantastic Olympic-themed lessons.
Speech Day was a marvellous way to round off the year, as we took the time to celebrate the students’ successes. Our guest speaker was OR Noo Saro-Wiwa who spoke about her many experiences since she has left Roedean and how school was a remarkable springboard for her. We are sure that her wise words will be remembered by our Year 13s as they head off on their new adventures.
Finally, to top off an excellent year, Roedean has been announced as the winner of the Brilliant Boarding School category in the Muddy Stilettos School Awards – well done everyone!
