This month, we held a charity non-uniform day, where everyone was invited to wear red, blue, and yellow, the colours  which represent both the Ukrainian and Moldovan flag. We also held a bake sale, as well as the famous Moldova Car Wash on  Roedean Day. All these events helped us to smash our target of £5000, the amount we pledged to raise every year for the next 10 years for  the Rainbow of Hope orphanage in Moldova.

Following the success of last year’s trip to Moldova, a group of twelve students and 2 staff will be returning to Chisinau in the first week of the summer holidays to teach English to Ukrainian refugees. The students have been training with Mrs Howson, learning about teaching English and preparing materials to take with them for this exciting challenge.
