On March 5th, we hosted our annual Careers’ Fair and it was lovely to welcome back many of the previous contributors as well as lots of new faces. There were 46 contributors from our OR, parental, and local community, including two more recent leavers, Millicent Davies, who is working in Logistics and former Head Girl, Maggie El Beleidi, who has now embarked on a career in Politics.
There was a great atmosphere in C-Hall as our students and students from local state schools attending the Roedean Academy, visited the fair. They explored the stalls that represented a fantastic range of sectors including Medicine, Engineering, Fundraising, Creative, Performing Arts, Law and more.

This made me and my colleague happy for the future women in STEM, and young people of their calibre will help us confront the challenges facing our society in the future.”
Kerry Harding, RISE Charity said:

It was very evident that Roedean instils a strong sense of social responsibility in the girls, and they are learning that charity work is part of community life. This is a huge credit to Roedean School; you should all be very proud.”
