Last week we celebrated European Day of languages with various activities including a special themed bake sale. As a place where over 40 nationalities come together, our multiculturalism is a vibrant aspect of our identity. The Languages department also appointed their 16 new Language and Culture Ambassadors last week, so congratulations to the students on their new positions.

Last week also saw our Year 11 Geography students undertake their compulsory physical fieldwork with a trip to the Calshot Centre at the mouth of Southampton Water. The girls came back tired from an action packed weekend but with a deeper understanding of the Geography fieldwork sequence of enquiry.
