The Spring term’s gala concert, Waltzing Through Time was an absolute triumph, bringing together music which was complimented by talented dancers. With music from different periods the sheer variety was amazing, with everything from Classical to Dance music.
There was an incredible number of students involved in the Choir, three orchestras, and bands, ranging from Year 7 to 13 - the concert even featured our newest Rock Band.
As well as the superb performances, the effects created by the Theatre team were sensational, with dramatic bursts of fire and dry ice. The performers were clearly enjoying themselves and it was wonderful to hear parents comment afterwards how impressive it is that the musicians were able to
move from Tchaikovsky and the Can-Can to Fat Boy Slim without missing a beat!
