Last Friday, we were delighted to welcome twenty-two incredibly inspirational women to Roedean, to mark International Women’s Day. With speakers visiting in person and virtual speakers from other continents, the range of impressive female speakers suited this year’s theme #inspireinclusion perfectly.

World Book Day was brilliant, and it was lovely to see so many students and staff dressed as their favourite character. There was a costume catwalk which was great fun, and Mrs Shillito and Ms Bailey did an excellent job of setting up and running a pop-up bookshop - all helping to raise valuable funds for our Project Moldova charity.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the huge success of our annual Careers’ Fair. There was a real buzz in C-Hall as the students made their way around the different stands representing 50 professions. There were contributors from our OR, parental, and local community, and the students from Roedean and the Roedean Academy asked some well thought out and interesting questions to find out more about each career – the feedback from the contributors was fantastic.
