Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean

Our recent Waltzing Through Time gala concert was a fantastic event, with a wide variety of music based around the theme of dance, and with some special appearances from accompanying dancers for many pieces. This week’s Head’s Review has a link to watch the whole concert.

Last week we were also excited to welcome back OR Anni Fan. Anni now works for Tesla and visited us in advance of their event for International Women’s Day, which will celebrate female engineers. During their visit, Tesla interviewed two Year 13 students about why they are passionate about engineering and the place of women in the sector.

Meanwhile, the Spanish Department took a group of A Level students to London to see La Casa de Bernarda Alba, which is a compelling component to the Spanish A Level course due to its look at the journey of Spanish feminism and liberalism. Seeing the play live will greatly benefit the students’ understanding of the text.
