Head's Review 02 02 2024

Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean.

School News

Last week, we were lucky enough to attend one of the fabulous School performances of Legally Blonde. The show was incredible and the performance level and energy throughout really was amazing. The five principal roles were double-cast, which really highlights the calibre of actors we have at Roedean – congratulations to everyone involved.

We have continued to hear such positive news of our Year 13s receiving further offers to universities and last week there were six offers for highly competitive courses in medical fields. We were also delighted to hear that Maria had successfully auditioned at the Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford and was offered a place on the Foundation in Musical Theatre Performance course. Maria’s audition was so impressive, that she has been called back for consideration to go straight onto the BA (Hons) for Acting on Stage and Screen.

Finally, the line up for this year’s International Women’s Day has been released and there are 22 inspiring women speaking at Roedean, including 4 ORs. You can read more about the speakers in the full Head’s Review below.
