Our Magical Music of Disney Gala Concert took place last week, and it was wonderful to see so many students and staff performing. The talent was exceptional, with pieces ranging from Tchaikovsky to a rock band playing the theme from Cars!

Last Sunday we held the Moldova Splash, which was our charity colour run, raising money for Project 125 Moldova. Everybody was in great spirits as they ran around the track trying to dodge the handfuls of paints and make it to the finish line. This was the first in a series of fundraising events to support the Moldova orphanage, helping us to reach our long-term goal of raising £5000 each year for the next decade.

As you may know, Roedean holds experience days for prospective students, the most recent of which was a Hockey experience day supported by our Sports Ambassador and Olympic Gold Medallist, Helen Richardson- Walsh. We welcomed 50 students, who were able to develop their hockey skills, as well as hearing about Helen’s journey to becoming a successful athlete - they even got to hold her gold medal from the Rio Olympics!  

Finally, after their hard work and determination, it has been wonderful that some of our Year 13s have started to receive university place offers. Some of our early applicants are also now receiving invitations for Oxbridge and Medicine courses which is very exciting!
