This month saw our Year 7 students cross the Channel to visit the enchanting Opal Coast in Northeast France. With its varied landscapes, including beaches, dunes, cliffs and swamps, it really is a place of natural beauty.

The students got the opportunity to visit the biggest aquarium in Europe, Nausicaā, exploring everything it had to offer and learning about the incredible inhabitants – it is home to 58,000 living creatures!

A trip to France wouldn’t be complete without a taste of the local flavours, and so a visit to local cheese and biscuit makers really did go down a treat.

The Year 7 residential trip is an excellent time for the students to make new friends and spend quality time with their year group, which helps foster a sense of community and belonging. We believe that building strong bonds and connections is essential for our students’ success, it certainly looked like they had a magnificent time!
