Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean

School News

Last week at Roedean had a running theme of community. We wished our Year 11s good luck as they went of on study leave, and on Tuesday, 650 students and staff came together in the shape of the number 125 as part of our 125th anniversary of the school site celebrations.

Year 9 held their main fundraising event of the year for their year group charity – Raystede. This involved 26 students and 4 members of staff taking on the iDrop – a 165m abseil down the i360. They have raised an incredible amount – nearly £9,000!

Finally, on Friday, we marked the Coronation of King Charles III with a special Chapel service, and a picnic lunch – the catering department spoiled us as usual with an incredible array of tasty treats including Coronation themed cupcakes, all watched over by a life-size cardboard cut-out of His Majesty.
