Last week, our new Roedean Sailing Club started, the Club takes place on a Saturday at Ardingly Reservoir, and has been made possible by a generous OR donation. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are excited for the five more weekends of sailing this term.
It was also wonderful last week to have the Year 12 Community Action Programme Presentations, this is the culmination of the outreach and community-based projects they have participated in over the Autumn and Spring Terms. We also announced that in July, twelve students and two members of staff will be travelling to Moldova to teach English to Ukrainian refugee children. We are looking forward to sharing the fun ways they will be fundraising for the trip – which starts with a Run 2K per day in May challenge!
Finally, congratulations to the 30 students who took LAMDA examinations at the end of last term, 29 of them received Distinctions!
