This week is an exciting Head’s Weekly Review, the first of the Summer Term, and the first from our new Head, Niamh Green. Mrs Green enjoyed meeting many staff, students, and parents during her first week and even met students and staff from Roedean South Africa, who visited the school on Tuesday. ‘I am delighted to be the new Head at Roedean, and it is truly wonderful to be here.’

There are three outstanding achievements celebrated in this week’s review. Jasmine (Yr9) has been selected to represent Great Britain in Showjumping, Galina (Yr 11) led the National Youth Concert Band over Easter, and Charlotte (Yr 9) has been crowned World Champion in Taekwon-Do. These are remarkable successes - huge congratulations to all three students.

Finally, our new Steinway pianos arrived on Friday, all the way from Germany. This was a momentous occasion and marks the beginning of our partnership with Steinway & Sons. One of the grand pianos will feature in the Roedean Brighton Festival Fringe concert held in the chapel in a few weeks. Featuring some of our finest musicians, this will no doubt be a spectacular show.
