The highlight of last week, was our International Women's Day Festival. Throughout the day, all of our students, and visiting students from our Roedean Academy partner schools, attended five different talks from a wide array of inspiring women. The feedback has been incredible and there was such an excited buzz in the corridors as they all moved between the different talks.
The Art Department have been very busy and have held five life drawing classes during the week, starting with Open Day, the regular A Level bi-weekly elective class, a session as part of the Roedean Academy, an A Level taster session for year 10, and a special class drawing the Drawing Circus on stage in the Theatre.
And finally, Emily, who left Roedean last summer, and who has been working at the School until recently as a Gap Assistant, has just finished her first week volunteering at Roedean South Africa. This week’s Head’s Weekly Review includes a report on all the incredible things she has been doing during her time there.
