World Book Day took place last week, and this saw a wonderful array of literary-themed costumes at Roedean as part of our charity non-uniform day. There were a number of other events and activities that took place, including a visit from former staff member, Chikodili Emelumadu, who is now an established author. She spoke to Year 10 about her journey to becoming a writer and what inspired her along the way.

We welcomed 29 teams from different schools to Roedean for the annual U12 and U13 SISNA tournament on Wednesday. It was great to have so many teams attend, and both of our age groups played incredibly well, securing third place in the competition.

Our International Women’s Day festival takes place this week and it is amazing to have 21 incredible speakers. The students will no doubt find the experience inspiring and will have the opportunity to attend five talks.
