This week we welcomed the return of House Swimming, with fantastic house spirit from the girls along with the usual chanting and pom poms and of course a number of close races! Congratulations to House 2 for winning not only the Junior but Senior events.

We saw Netball matches against Brighton College, a brilliant start to the season with competitive matches in both the U18As and U16Bs. There were 29 teams due to play on Saturday, a wonderful way for so many students to have the opportunity to represent the school.

A special well done to Karena (Yr13) who has won a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music next year. In addition there were some fantastic results for those students who took their LAMDA examinations at the end of last term, all received Distinctions!

Finally, an amazing achievement from two of our Year 10 students Lydia and Chaya, they entered the ‘Best Student Short Film’ category in the Paris International Film Festival and were placed in the top 7 out of many entries, making them semi-finalists. What was even more impressive was the fact they were the only semi-finalists under 18! Well done.
