Head's Weekly Review 31 03 2022

Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean.

Yesterday was the final day of the Spring Term, and as many of you will now have heard, Mr Blond announced that he will be stepping down after 10 incredible years as Headmaster of Roedean. He took the opportunity to thank you all for your part in ensuring this very special school continues to go from strength to strength, and is a place where girls can be happy as well as successful.

After a hugely successful term in Netball, this week the girls took on a completely different challenge in the Staff vs Student match, it should give some hope to our OR netballers that the Staff managed to beat the girls in 3 of the 4 matches!

This week we also announced our new Prefect Team for the next year, congratulations to our new Head Girls Jemima and Sophia. The 6th Form rounded off the Spring Term with a fantastic Bond Night, which saw the girls and their guests all looking very glamorous.

To read more about these stories, and to see some gorgeous photographs from the Year 12 Art Exhibition and our production of Romeo and Juliet, read this week’s Head’s Weekly Review.

Booking is also now open for our annual Brighton Fringe Festival Concert. This is always a highlight in our calendar, and tickets do sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available here: https://www.brightonfringe.org/whats-on/roedean-festival-fringe-concert-161535/.
