Head's Weekly Review 08 10 2021

School News

It has been a busy week of events for the girls which included the launch of our celebrations to mark Black History Month. There was a Chapel service led by Sixth Form students who bravely stood up and shared their experiences and inspirations in front of their peers. We welcomed back Eden Wolfe-Naughton (No. 4, 2014-21) who spoke to the girls about her EPQ research on the treatment of Black Germans 1884-present. Looking ahead, we are really looking forward to our Take Your Seat Showcase happening this Friday 15th October. There are still a few tickets available so please do come and see our newly refurbished Theatre and support our talented girls with a wonderful Year 7 choir perform. Next term we will have the incredible opportunity to hear from world-record holding free diver and environmentalist Tanya Streeter (Dailey, No. 3, 1986-91) at our Headmaster Lecture on Tuesday 16 November. Tickets will be released shortly and we can’t wait to hear the girl’s questions for Tanya! Read these stories and more in the Head’s Weekly Review.
