Take Your Seat! Appeal Update

Supporting Roedean Theatre

We are delighted that following it's launch last month, we are close to reaching 50% of our £75,000 target. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the appeal so far. But this means we still have over half to go, so please do consider sponsoring a seat, or giving whatever you can, to ensure we are able to complete this important project and fill up our seating plan!

The Performing Arts have always been integral to the Roedean experience, from Junior House nativity plays in days gone by, to our show-stopping school productions, and the fiercely competitive House Dance, Drama, and Music competitions.

At the heart of this is our Theatre, much-loved by everyone at Roedean for nearly 30 years now, so much so that we have literally worn out the seats. This has left us with a need to return the Theatre to its former glory, while adding more capacity, greater accessibility, and improving sound quality and energy efficiency. But we need your help to achieve this.

Transforming the Roedean Theatre will make such a tremendous difference to our girls as they either perform on stage, or support their friends from the audience, as well as meaning that we can more easily open the Theatre to our local community and visiting companies.

For more information about this exciting appeal, please visit our  Take Your Seat campaign page, where you can also make an online donation, or contact Grace on or 01273 667398.
