On Wednesday 12 May the whole school community had the opportunity to listen to over 25 speakers representing a wide variety of careers at our Virtual Careers Fair.
Representing professions from sectors including medical, charity, education, legal, international development, finance, business, STEM, publishing, television and media, and the creative arts, the speakers shared their insights and advice on how to find yourself on the best pathway for success in the future, as well as answering superb questions from the girls.
It really was an engaging and informative evening.
‘It was such a pleasure! The format worked really well and the girls asked some really great questions! Our ‘virtual room’ was busy and buzzing all night!’ Teresa Outhwaite (Brach, No. 1, 1981–91)
‘Thanks for asking us to be involved. Not only was it great to share insights but the girls stretched our brains at times! And we got a chance to catch up and meet some new ORs – win win all round. It was great fun.’ Camilla Nightingale (Johnston-Lyon, No. 1, 1981–89)
If any ORs would be interested in taking part in similar events in the future, please get in touch with the Roedeanian office.
