This week we have launched Race Around the World 2.0 – and we would like to invite ORs to take part as well this time. Our aim is to travel from Brighton to Brighton, visiting each of the 32 countries where our students live. ORs and Former Staff can log their distances here: https://roedean.wufoo.com/forms/p1g7zhue01t9wmg/.
In other news, years 9, 10 and 11 have all been taking part in bake offs, with some quite incredible results, two girls then chose to donate their cakes to local NHS staff to thank them for all of their hard work during the pandemic. Year 7 revealed the results of their DT project to create clocks - with some fantastically imaginative results.
In sports news the PE Department’s inspiring conversation this week, is an interview with OR Patricia Carswell. And finally, our congratulations go to Gabi (Yr 13) who has achieved a Merit at Advanced 2 in her Royal Academy of Dance examination, an outstanding achievement at any time, but especially when coupled with the many postponements her exam had due to Covid-19.
