It is wonderful to have the girls back in School after half term. In a tumultuous time when the UK has returned to lockdown, we are pleased that we are able to continue to provide the girls with an excellent all-round education. Last week’s Chapel services focused on social media, and girls from every year-group shared their personal experiences of it with their peers. They highlighted the great benefits of social media as a way of keeping in touch with others, but also spoke about the negative aspects associated with it. You can read some extracts from the services in the review.
In other news, to end the first half of term with a blast, House 3 organised a creative and fun-filled Halloween extravaganza. Our Year 11 leaders organised activities in each room of the House for our younger students to enjoy.
And finally, the School’s Charity Prefects have launched our school charities for this year, which include PlanUK, Beachy Head Chaplaincy and the Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue and Protection. The review includes lots of information about the charities, and what we will be doing to support them. Read these stories and more in this week’s Head’s Weekly Review.
