It has been wonderful to receive such positive feedback from our recent Open Day. The visitors were impressed not only by what they saw, but equally by the confidence and naturalness of our student tour guides.

Last Monday we kicked off Black History Month with an exceptional whole school lecture delivered by guest speaker, Dr Tesy Ojo. She spoke about the role we all have, to collectively stand up for openness and inclusion in both school and society, while challenging excluding behaviours.

Musicians from Years 7-11 came together for a wonderful Teatime Recital. With pieces from Guns N’ Roses to Teleman, it was lovely that so many students performed with such confidence in such a varied programme.

Finally, our sports teams enjoyed success last week with matches in both hockey and netball. It was superb to see so many students representing the school and developing their approach to match-play.
