Head's Weekly Review 30 09 2022

Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean

Last week, over 60 Year 11 students and staff spent a long weekend in Somerset for their Geography Fieldtrip. This is a key component of their GCSE course, and gave the girls a chance to study the course of the river Holford, and coastal management provision.

We also celebrated the European Day of Languages. The aim of the day is to celebrate the languages of the world, and promote linguistic diversity. Staff and students shared their stories about languages, as well as the girls taking part in a quiz and a cake competition.

And finally, we held the third instalment of the Inter-House Competition. This time it was a House Spelling Bee. Pupils were split into Juniors (Years 7-9), Inters (10 and 11) and Seniors (6th Form). You can see which Houses won each age category in this week’s Head’s Weekly Review.
