It was wonderful to welcome so many parents and Old Roedeanians to our annual Sports Day. Over 400 girls competed in 11 different events and we have renamed the ‘Rounders Ball Throw’ the ‘Cricket Ball Throw’ in honour of our growing Cricket programme. The day was officiated by 60 members of Roedean staff, 16 of whom represented the staff in the epic ‘Golden Mile’ finale. A big thank you to Ali and her ground staff, the maintenance staff, teaching and administration staff for officiating, Nick and all the housemen, and to Steve Bell, Tina Pynn and the catering staff for providing such wonderful refreshments.
Thank you as well to the 16 ORs (and ringers!) who formed the OR Golden Mile Team - a superb effort from you all!
