We have been beavering away via the virtual Editorial Office (how would we be able to compile the magazine so well without technology?). We are so pleased to have another magazine for you, written by ORs for ORs – jam packed with articles about and from ORs. It is always amazing to see the breadth and depth of activities which our ORs get up to - what a credit to all of you.

The school celebrated its 125th Anniversary in 2023 - and to mark this we have several articles on this theme (and archive photos) showing Roedean over the years, about the Founder Donors of the school, the first magazine and a fascinating article on one OR’s connection to the saving of “Cutty Sark”.

As ever, you will find plenty of news about ORs – who are a busy lot - meeting up and socialising, as well as having adventures. The sporting achievements of ORs in tennis, golf, hockey and netball continue to feature as do the varied reunions of different OR groups. We have news of SAORA, of recent works by OR authors and an update on the Heritage Projects and the Scholarship Fund as well as the usual sections of ORA Matters, OR Events, Births, Weddings and Obituaries.
