ORA News

A glossy magazine written by ORs for ORs, it includes articles covering subjects such as memories of Roedean in the 1950s and ‘60s, Life at the Bar in the 1970s and a career that went from working for BOAC to research into Cardiac Rehabilitation, as well the Gardens at Roedean.

The sporting achievements of many ORs continue to feature strongly in the magazine as do the varied reunions of different OR groups. We have news of SAORA, of recently published books by OR authors and of the continuing generosity of OR donors towards both the Heritage Projects and the Scholarship Fund. Some of the articles have a royal connection, as well as the usual sections of ORA Matters, OR Events, OR Authors, Weddings, News of Friends and Obituaries.

If you would like to receive a printed copy of the Magazine, you will need to be a subscriber. Please use this link to take out a subscription either for a single copy (£8) or for three years (£24): https://old-roedeanians-association.sumupstore.com/products. Past issues can also be purchased for £5.

If you are not sure if your subscription has expired, and you have an online profile on the Roedean Community Network, you can login and check under “My Profile”, else email membership-secretary@oldroedeanians.co.uk and we can check for you.

The OR magazine is also available online for free (if you login/join to the Roedean Community Network) – you can find the past issues, including the 2022 issue here https://community.roedean.co.uk/news/old-roedeanians-magazine.
