The final week of the Autumn Term was bursting with Christmas cheer.  The week started with a fantastic Christmas Fair which raised a huge amount of money for the St Marks’ School Library Appeal. Monday evening saw the House Christmas Spirit Competition – with inter-house rivalry alive and well! Amongst all of this, we also launched the Roedean Academy for 2018-19. The Academy will see nearly 50 students from Roedean and three local state schools attend weekly sessions for 8 weeks designed to give the pupils a chance to explore subject areas beyond the standard curriculum.

We also had our traditional end of term events, Wednesday saw the Carol Services, with ORs and Former Staff joining us for the morning service and parents joining us for the afternoon service. The girls also had their Christmas Lunch on Wednesday – the catering team spoiled us all again! And on Thursday we just had time for Final Chapel and Handshaking before everyone headed home for Christmas.

To find out more about the week’s activities – and who won the House competition, read this week’s Head’s Weekly Review!
