Last week, to mark World Mental Health Day, students and staff were encouraged to wear something yellow in support of the Young Minds campaign. Students explored positive coping strategies which can help when they may be feeling overwhelmed while also focussing on practical techniques such as meditation and grounding exercises.

Congratulations to Julia in Year 13 who has achieved full marks in the Senior Maths Challenge. With only 83 points required for Gold, Julia achieved a remarkable 125! There were some brilliant results from other students - 11 achieved Gold, 23 Silver, and 39 Bronze, well done!

We were delighted to welcome so many ORs to the annual London Lunch on Thursday, it was a huge success, and it was wonderful to see so many reminiscing over their time at Roedean. On Saturday, the ORA held their annual AGM at the School, followed by a delicious lunch and a tour of the fascinating Heritage Projects led by ORA President, Noëlle Chase. 

Finally, we will be joined by 90 students from six local state schools tomorrow for our Black History Month lecture. We are looking forward to welcoming award-winning author, Carolynn Bain, who will be talking about contemporary literature by Black authors.
