The Year 8 MNDA 24-hour challenge was a huge success and the dedication from everyone involved was amazing. The distances covered really was remarkable and the careful planning and set-up ensured that the event ran smoothly. Most importantly, the vital funds raised for this incredible charity was outstanding, with the total falling just short of £10,000!

The newly refurbished library is now open, and it has been wonderful to see the students making great use of it. The design enables a combination of study, quiet reading, small group work and archive materials, and there is a great combination of both modern and original features. We are looking forward to the official Opening Ceremony on Roedean Day which ORs are most welcome to attend.

The musical talent on show for the House Music competition was brilliant. The students responded excellently to the theme and although everyone performed incredibly well, House 2 were crowned the overall winners.

Finally, this Thursday is the Roedean Festival Fringe Concert at All Saints Church in Hove. The concert is a highlight of the year and this year our talented musicians will be performing Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Vaughn Williams’ Serenade to Music and solos with Orchestra. You can book tickets using the link in the full Head’s Review below.
