Last week, to continue our events marking Black History Month, Keswick Hall was transformed into an intimate performing space for a play reading of Emelia. Well done to everyone involved for their powerful performances and strong characterisation.
In other news, our Dance and Sports Scholars both had specialist workshops. The Dance Scholars took part in an exciting ‘Some Like it Hip Hop’ Workshop on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, the Sports Scholars were lucky enough to hear from Olympic simmer, Kate Haywood.
And finally, congratulations to all the Year 11 students, and staff, who ran the Rise 8K yesterday. This year, each year group has a nominated charity who they will be raising money for throughout the year. Year 11’s charity is Rise, a local domestic abuse charity.
