Keeping up with everything going on at Roedean
25 Sep 2017
School News
With four year-groups out of school for a few days each last week, Roedean was a little quieter than usual.

Last weekend, Year 10 had a very successful trip to Blacklands Farm, where the girls challenged themselves in the great outdoors.  They threw themselves into all of the activities, such as kayaking and rock-climbing, and in the evening enjoyed sitting around the camp-fire.  On Thursday the School hosted a hugely popular Career’s Fair.  Over 300 girls attended, and with 50 different sectors represented, there was lots to think and learn about.  A big thank you to all our Roedean Rocks members who helped at the fair.

Last week members of staff and girls took part in an event organised by Roedean, in conjunction with Cheltenham Ladies’ College and North London Collegiate School, which celebrated the benefits of single-sex education in the 21st Century.  We are well into the current Hockey season, with the U14A team playing Bede’s on Saturday for a very closely fought match.  The Netball season also kicked off their campaign, with the U15 squad playing Benenden in the ISNC Cup.
