This week: Roedean's Catering Department was approached by HMC to write an article about food and nutrition at Roedean. Oliver Blond was the key-note speaker at the AMDIS Conference where he spoke about the need for schools to have a clear vision in order to negotiate the increasingly competitive and complex educational landscape. Poppy T was selected to play for the Sussex County under 15 girls' basketball team. There was even time for some prayer and refection in the Chapel! One of Roedean's Young Enterprise teams were invited to the Mayor's Parlour because they were the Runner Up Best Company in Brighton and Hove. The HHH Year 9 I-CARE group are working alongside Founding member, Ruth Anslow, from hiSbe (‘how it Should be’ supermarket). Ruth came to visit the students to talk about hiSbe’s work in putting customers, suppliers, and employees first. Scarlett, took part in the Superhero Charity Run in Regent's Park and doubled her fundraising target for Project Harar (a charity that provides care and medical treatment for children and young adults with facial disfigurement in Ethiopia).
