After leaving Roedean, Denise (No.2, 2003 - 07) studied Comparative Literature and Fine Arts at the University of Hong Kong, which prompted her interest in art and design. After leaving University she worked for Ellermann Interiors, where she gained valuable experience working on interior styling projects ranging from international hotels and commercial showrooms, to residential properties. She has also worked on freelance projects in Hong Kong and Thailand.
 
Denise relocated to Edinburgh in 2018, and started her own practice, Tendresse Design, an interior styling business focusing on connecting people with the space through a careful curation of furniture and accessories. Denise aims to create spaces that inspire and energise, whether it's a residential or a property styling project, Tendresse Design are passionate about creating interiors that best meet clients’ needs.
