School News
This week at Roedean, we have announced our new Prefect Team, congratulations to Victoria and Eden, our new Head Girls, who will be more fully introduced next week.

Charity work has again been a big focus for the Roedean community. Eliza in Year 8 has been telling us about her work fundraising for Invisible Girl, a charity in India helping to fund girls education and to fight gendercide. Our Race Across the World, has almost become a Race Around the World - between us and Roedean South Africa, we have just under 5,000 km to go before we will have travelled 40,075 km - the circumference of the equator. And, Mr Halsey and Mr Weir have both agreed to shave their heads for charity - the one who raises the most donations will be the one to go through with it.

In other news, every year local artist, Kellie Miller, holds an art award, selecting the best artists from local schools. Unable to hold the awards this year, she has instead chosen to feature their work on her blog - we are delighted that she has chosen four of our students to include.
