This week at Roedean, we continued our race across the World, and made it to Roedean South Africa. It's looking promising that we might make it back to Roedean Brighton by the end of the Summer Term. It's still possible to donate to Off The Fence, the local homeless charity supported by the School, in support of the race by clicking here.

The History department also launched a project to gather diary entries detailing life in lockdown, to form an archive to be preserved for future generations of Roedeanians to study. Year 8 have been practising their creative writing with travel writing pastiches, basing their articles on their time at home as they can't travel at the moment.

In other news, several girls entered the House competition for Mental Health Awareness week, creating posters, pictures and poems to raise awareness, and students from all years were invited to enter the Classics Dept Great Roedean Bake Off - read this week's Head's Weekly Review to see the incredible results including Mount Vesuvius and the Leaning Tower of Pisa!
